MIRAGE ALPHA END-USER LICENSE AGREEMENT Version 1.0 — Effective 30 July 2026 Licensor: Zakhar Lebediuk Contact: prorok1015@gmail.com PLEASE READ THIS AGREEMENT BEFORE INSTALLING OR USING MIRAGE. BY SELECTING "I AGREE", INSTALLING, COPYING, OR USING AN OFFICIAL MIRAGE ALPHA CLIENT BINARY, YOU ACCEPT THIS AGREEMENT. IF YOU DO NOT ACCEPT IT, DO NOT INSTALL OR USE THE SOFTWARE. 1. Alpha Software Mirage is experimental, unfinished software supplied for testing and evaluation. It may contain serious defects, lose data, fail to deliver messages, expose metadata, consume excessive resources, or stop working without notice. It has not been certified for emergency, safety-critical, medical, financial, legal, or other high-risk use. 2. Limited License Subject to this Agreement, the Licensor grants you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, royalty-free license to install and use unmodified official Mirage alpha client binaries for personal or internal evaluation and testing. This license does not authorize operating Mirage as a paid service, embedding it in another product, commercial redistribution, resale, rental, hosting for third parties, or use of Mirage server, library, SDK, or container artifacts. Those activities require a separate written license. 3. Restrictions Except where applicable law expressly permits an activity despite this restriction, you may not: (a) copy or redistribute the Software except for a reasonable personal backup; (b) modify, translate, adapt, or create derivative works from the Software; (c) reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive source code, cryptographic keys, non-public protocols, or internal implementation; (d) remove or alter copyright, license, attribution, or technical-protection notices; (e) bypass access controls or use the Software to violate law or another person's rights; or (f) represent that the Software is certified, endorsed, or production-ready. Interoperability, security research, and other legally protected activities remain permitted to the extent they cannot lawfully be restricted. Mirage's security reporting policy is available in SECURITY.md in the source repository. 4. Third-Party Components The Software includes third-party components governed by their own license terms. Those licenses may grant you additional rights for the relevant components. They are listed in THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.txt and the accompanying legal/third_party directory. This Agreement does not reduce rights granted directly by those licensors. 5. Updates and Changes The Licensor may provide, replace, or discontinue alpha builds and services at any time. Updates may be installed through the Software's update mechanism. An update may be accompanied by revised terms; revised terms apply only after they are presented or otherwise validly accepted as required by applicable law. 6. Feedback If you voluntarily provide feedback, you grant the Licensor a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and commercialize that feedback without obligation to you. This does not transfer ownership of code or other material that you clearly identify as a separate contribution. 7. Privacy and Communications This Agreement is a software license, not a privacy notice. Do not assume that alpha encryption, routing, metadata protection, availability, or deletion is error-free. Before a public commercial launch, Mirage must publish a privacy notice describing actual data flows and retention. 8. Term and Termination This Agreement begins when accepted and continues until terminated. You may terminate it by stopping use and deleting all copies. The Licensor may terminate it if you materially breach it. On termination, stop using and delete the Software, except for copies you must retain by law. Sections 3–11 survive to the extent necessary to give them effect. 9. No Warranty THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITH ALL FAULTS. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE LICENSOR DISCLAIMS ALL EXPRESS, IMPLIED, AND STATUTORY WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, SECURITY, ACCURACY, AVAILABILITY, AND UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION. 10. Limitation of Liability TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE LICENSOR WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST DATA, PROFITS, REVENUE, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SOFTWARE. WHERE LIABILITY CANNOT BE EXCLUDED, THE LICENSOR'S AGGREGATE LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SOFTWARE OR USD 10. THESE LIMITATIONS DO NOT APPLY WHERE APPLICABLE LAW PROHIBITS THEM. 11. General If a provision is unenforceable, it will be limited to the minimum extent necessary and the remainder will continue in effect. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign this Agreement without written consent. The Licensor may assign it together with the Mirage intellectual property. This Agreement and incorporated third-party notices are the entire agreement concerning the alpha client license. No governing law, court, or arbitration forum is selected in this interim alpha Agreement. Mandatory rules of applicable law still apply. This Agreement must be reviewed by qualified counsel before commercial launch or material expansion into a selected market.
